We don’t invest in commercial real estate to create a second job for ourselves. Unfortunately, that’s what too many of us do.
After I bought my first income property, I believed that self-managing saved money. I fixed toilets, handled the landscaping, and collected rent. If a problem occurred, I was the only line of defense.
As my portfolio grew, so did the workload. Emergency calls interrupted my daily responsibilities, which impacted deals I was working on for clients. They also disrupted vacations and family outings.
I soon came to my senses and turned over management to Kiemle Hagood. It was the best decision I ever made regarding my properties. Almost overnight, the headaches related to investment real estate seemed to vanish. They were still there, of course, but now a team of professionals handled them for me. I was free to focus on other pursuits.
When the opportunity to lead Kiemle Hagood’s commercial management team presented itself, I jumped at it. My career had led me through property management, brokerage, and real estate investing. It was a perfect fit.
If you’re looking for help with your investment properties, I hope you’ll call.
I’d love to share how our team can make life easier for you!
